The TECHE Project holds their Annual Membership Banquet at the end of January each year somewhere along the bayou. In 2016, it will be held on Jan. 29th at the Magnolia Center in St. Martinville,. Our guest speaker will be Dr. Mark Rees who will be speaking about the Indian Mounds on the Teche and about the New Acadie Project.
The Banquet includes a summary presentation from the TECHE Project Council of the annual highlights of the previous year and our plans for the future. Dinner, libations, live music, door prizes and a silent auction are all part of the fun! TECHE Project members get in free. For others, the entrance fee is the price of a membership ($20). Where else can you get an evening’s worth of entertainment and a membership to a worthwhile organization for such a low cost?
