Bayou Cleanups

The TECHE Project periodically rounds up all willing volunteers to scour the bank of the 125 miles of Bayou Teche to remove tons of garbage from Louisiana’s only National Water Trail. When volunteers show up for a day of work and fun, we provide everything for a successful cleanup: gloves, bags, pickers and even boats. Our next cleanup will be in the spring of 2026.
