Twilight on the Teche

Our Annual Membership Banquet has now become Twilight on the Teche, an annual Membership Party. This is a special perk just for our members, and parties are usually held at a private home or intimate venue. For 2026, we are headed to Bayou Teche Trading Co. (the old Gulf Station) at 200 W. Main St. in New Iberia —a tiki-themed bar right off the bayou.

On March 21, our tiki twist will include Louisiana seafood courtesy of the Louisiana Seafood Promotion and Marketing Board, tiki drinks, music, dancing, and even a boat cruise from 5:30-9 p.m,. Members get in free, and new members can sign up at the door starting at $25. We encourage members to bring a friend to support The TECHE Project!

In the past, we have named a Volunteer of the Year during our banquet. This tradition will continue at Twilight, so stay tuned for the 2026 volunteer!
